Alana received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and is currently a PhD candidate working jointly with the Predictive Science Lab and Intelligent Infrastructure Systems Laboratory. She is interested in developing scalable inference strategies to monitor real-time changes in the dynamic properties of large scale civil infrastructure systems. In her spare time, she goes on bicycle adventures with her husband, crafts wooden toys and furniture, and reads (small) mountains of fiction.
